The Southern

General Information

The Southern is published every other Friday during fall and spring semesters of the academic year at Florida Southern College. The online edition includes articles from the newspaper, as well as other updates. Both the newspaper and the online edition are produced by students through the Communication Department. The unsigned editorial that appears on this page is meant to reflect the consensus of the newspaper editorial board, which comprises the editorial-page editor, the editor-in-chief and other senior editors. Other opinions expressed on the Viewpoint pages are not necessarily those of the department, the administration, the Board of Trustees or The Southern editorial board.
The Southern office is in the student publications office in the Chatlos Building on Johnson Ave. Staff can be reached Monday through Friday.
